Serdica archeological complex opens

The Serdica archeological complex opens in Sofia on 20. April 2016.

The complex covers an area of about 9,000 square meters and is well under the street level.

It includes 8 streets, 1 basilica, 6 large buildings, and a Medieval church. They have been built between the 4th and the 6th century CE.

A major point of interest within the complex is Decumanus Maximus- the main street of the city, which later would become Sofia.

Nonstop service San Jose-Frankfurt

Starting July 1, 2016 Lufthansa is launching a non stop flight service from San Kose, California, to Frankfurt. This way passengers traveling to Sofia can fly with only one stop from San Jose.
